    I would recommend shaving a bit more often once you have your new razor. Solely for the practice. Once you cross the first few hurdles you'll be right as rain to shave a little less often if you want to, and it will become enjoyable a lot sooner.

    I agree with the folks on this thread...once you learn to use a SR you can take a full beard off with ease. I have to be careful not to shave my beard off when I shave and trim myself...it's easy to do.

    I'm a bit weird here, sometimes I will purposefully grow a bit of fur simply because I think it's more fun to shave it off that way.
