Default First shave with my Whipped dog.

Received my Razor last night, thanks Larry. I did not shave two days prior, that may have been a mistake. But I followed the advice offerd by all and reduced at a near flat angle from my sideburns to my jaw. Pulling was pretty severe, but I expected this. Once I reduced a little I changed the angle slightly and it did well. I got a little carried away and tried to clear an area at the corner of my mouth that I always have a problem with my DE, and suffered the predictable cut. But all in all a success.

The corners of the mouth are tough for experienced straight shavers, me included. Stay with the easier parts and work your way up to the more difficult areas. Straight shaving takes time to get comfortable with. Take that time, and you'll do fine.

You'll be workin that spot like a champ shortly. Don't give up, don't get discouraged, and strop, strop, strop.

I find that 50/100 before shaving makes for a smoother shave. Give it a try..

    Good luck mate!!
