    I've seen quite many people had their 1st shaved with bad razor & stop continuing str8 shaving. So Imo 1st gear on 1st shave is important.

    I would recommend going to an antique store or a flea market and just keeping an eye out for a good looking SR, I went out and bought a Dovo from a shop brand new but i hardly shave with it anymore i use my 14 dollar W&B that i picked up. rather than spend a bunch of money on a new razor buy a cheap razor and clean it up
