what's the significance/signs of a bad quality strop? where I live they only sell 1 kind of strop, quite cheap . the result seem ok but since I have never seen any other strops or the one on internet I dont know the differences

Nice idea, but his closest neighbour appears to be someone called Smoothy in Singapore, 500 miles and a completely different world away. The density of users just doesn't appear to be the same as you come eastwards.
