    Thumbs up Great shaving experience!

I had the opportunity to meet with Lynn last weekend, had a crash course in all things straight razor and got a on-on-one period of instruction on the shave. This dramatically improved my shave, learned more about angels, stretching, stropping, creams and soaps. The next day I had the closet shave so far!

For my noob brothers out there, find someone experienced that is generous enough to give you some time to help you with your technique. At the very least, get the DVD, "The World of Straight Razor Shaving" and watch it over and over. When I met Lynn I felt like I already knew him for a long time LOL. Thanks Lynn!

I have never looked forward to shaving until now, I think it is the highlight of my day LOL.

That's awesome. It's amazing what a one on one can accomplish. It shows that we are truly meant to learn from each others experience.

I also think it's pretty cool to be able to say "I love shaving....it IS the highlight of my day".....and those who don't use a DE or straight are unable to identify. I have a number of friends who think i'm a little nuts. But....when I go somewhere with SWMBO in the evenings now, I don't have to have a second shave before I leave the house.

    That is priceless.

Very true. A one on one can save hours upon hours of frustration. I speak out of my own experience here...
You are off to a great start, congrats on that!
