Default SRP member helping out a beginner

Hey i am new to the straight razor, and newer to SRP. Any way i had some bad luck with a B@B razor. I had made a post asking for aid , when a SRP member showed much kindness, offered, than sent an straight razor. Used the razor for the first time, and it works like a charm. So i thank that member, and i hope over members could help out new arrivals to SRP

Something similar happened to me. It was JimR that helped me out. There are some great people on SRP and I would like to personally thank each and every member on here that offers advice, wisdom, and even supplies to help out those of us who are just starting out. Hopefully we will be in a position to do the same when we gain the experience.

It always helps to give a location under your name.

There are many guys & gals here that "pay it forward". Once you are a veteran I hope you will do the same. This is what makes our little community so great.

I am new here as well. Been a member for about a week and the help I received has been spectacular. Listen to the experienced guys and it will save you a lot of money, grief and make your shaving experience one to fondly remember. Because of this site my first straight razor shave went spectacularly.

Between them all, there are years and years of experience to lean upon.

Read the Wiki and buy good equipment and your experience will go much more smoothly.

Also, ask questions and you will get answers.

This is why I love this place!
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
