I think it's already been said but to bring it up again. Something in the beginners section would be helpful.

Glad to see some more guys marked on the map there.

I had checked yesterday a.m. and we were up to an even 1k

Slowly the #'s are coming up but still a ton more to go!!

Up to 1016 now. Still nobody in my area. Guess that ups my chances of antique shop and flea market finds though!

Ditto--great post--somehow I tripped over the map last year when I joined this site and planted my pin back then--but you're right, it doesn't seem like there are as many pins in the map as there are members and it's a cool feature. Thanks again for the great post.

You are Welcome. It's still got a long way's to go though. Only 1026 pins in the map and over 30,000 people are registered on the site as users. We just need to spread the word.

This site is getting better and better as I keep exploring! I am new to straight razor shaving and just as new to this site. I'm very fortunate to have access to such a huge community of helpful people!

I wonder if there is any way for us to check how many users are active out of that 30K figure. We might be close to the number of active members, but I know some of the pins I've checked were for members whose last activity was in 08 or earlier.
