    Default Hello from South Korea

Good afternoon (for me) from Seoul South Korea. The Air Force brought me here this past June and will leave that time next year (2011). I have been double edge wet shaving for almost a year and am slowly making my way to straight razor shaving. My mother found me a few straights (I posted another thread asking for help identifying them) and I will most likely be starting with them when I get back home. I know I have work to be done on the razors and TONS of reading before I'm ready to put one of them to my throat.

Welcome to SRP and also welcome to Asia!

This (SRP) is the best place to read up and, especially, for asking about and obtaining answers, support and advice on all things related to straight razors and related wet-shaving topics.

    Best regards from Singapore!

Welcome breadstick! Read, read, read and ask questions. This is the best site you'll find on straight razors. All of the members here are sincere, helpful types with a lot of knowledge and experience.
    Thank you for your service.

Welcome to SRP! The reading here is a seemingly endless well of great information. Be sure to check out the videos too. I found the videos done by Jockeys and Xman particularly helpful when I started. Jockeys has some great tutorials, and Xman is a really good example of one-handed technique.

    Good luck, and good shaving!
