Thread: Joy and Glory

Hi Everyone,
Something struck my mind and made this new thread.I m new to Str8 shaving,got all the cuts,burns and all on the face,struggling on the hone and strops,making choices on badgers hairs,mugs,stands,soaps,creams and colognes.,looking deeply into the mirror for hairs left not shaved,looking forward to the next shave and most of all waiting to get the custom made razor of your dream.Well to me that's all the joy i m experiencing,yes ,it's the journey.
The time will come when u reached the status of a 'Skilled Str8 Shaver',a guru in the business,then that's where the Glory is,it becomes a routine affair,this time u would be sitting down looking back at all the joy u went thro' before.Probably u can share all the experiences with all the newcomers on the forum,just like where Lynn is today.
Today i m still enjoying the trip, recording all the ups and downs of Str8 Shaving until i become one 'Skilled Str8 Shaver'.That's my Joy,i m not worried about the Glory,it is somewhere there.
