Talking first shave was well executed

    Hi everyone.
Just performed my first sr shave today. Was I.pressed if I do say so myself. Lol. Managed to get through it with very minor injuries, couple of nicks here and there. But what was to be expected. I was only going to try a single pass on the cheeks but got a lil over confident and decided to see how far that I could go without difficulty. And strangely enough I managed it through a 3 pass shave and the minor cuts were subsequent of the final atg pass.
Thank god it was Christmas. I recieved mwf a new shaving shack our badger brush. So I had a really nice lather on the face. Got my strip but hadn't needed to use it to day as a shave ready croisdale straight was my main.
Gotta say I'm looking forward to my next one.
Now all I am going to invest in is a alum block and some Bay rum aftershave.

    Congratulations on your first excursion.

If it's any consolation, I don't think many beginners stop on that first dominant cheek pass. I know I didn't.
