I'm going to guess either a 1911 or one of the sweet little S&W pocket .38's.

It's a custom 3" Colt model 1917 in .45 ACP. It's a cannon.

I don't think that's wrong at all. My wife has a great set up in our house, but I'm relegated to a small bathroom with a free standing sink and it's a pain. If you can keep the wife happy, more power to you!
