    Default Norelco?

Why don't these Norelco shavers ever guarantee a smooth shave?

You realize that this is a straight razor forum, correct?

Why, precisely, should I not consider this thread spam?

The first razor I ever used was my fathers old Sunbeam Shavemaster from the 1950s. When you took the foil or head off it had a plain old razor blade fixed to two poles and the motor made it vibrate. That was state of the art then and I remember the box said the smoothest, closest shave you will ever get but it wasn't guaranteed. Of course this was the mid 60s and I was just some dumb kid. That razor weighed about 5 pounds or so it seemed.
