Thread: confidence

Last night was the first time since I got my new de that I used a straight. I used one of Ger's big boys (I know not technical but it works). It was also the first time he did not have to help me I did all the shaving by myself. I had more confidence I did not feel like I had to ask for help but I knew it was there if I needed. I just have a good teacher.

It is a 7/8 W&B. She did great! Very smooth, confident and quick. She got a great shave and with a very heavy blade. The closest she's ever used is a 4/8. That's a pretty big jump and with a square point (it is muted).
