    Exclamation Any thoughts?

3.5 months into str8 shaving with my 7/8 Sheffield blade I finally thought to myself.."go for a 4th pass"..yea it's a big number and a big blade..I have to admit other than my 2 chin valley areas everything was much closer and as usual touch ups were with my electric shaver right under my lower lip area as well..
How the heck do I get closer under my lower lip area and both chin valleys..rightside especially always feels like I never touched it..again..I shave right handed only..left hand injury at birth..any visuals or diagrams would be most appreciated..I did try left hand skin stretching above my right chin spot but nothing improved

    Two thoughts...

First, I detest "text" writing. That's just my pet peeve, but the word is "straight."

Second, I would assume that with more practice you should not need to do so many passes. I rarely bother doing more than one pass. Then again, I don't usually need to worry about a perfect shave, since I'm married! You really should not need to do more than three passes at most.

    Anyway, that's my opinion.

Ok ok straight razor...I'm also married with a daughter..I do have a very coarse beard and when I was using de/se blades I would actually go 5 passes and tge prob with my se/de blades was sone irritation to my sensetive skin always showed up..and only got 2 uses per blade including the yellow feather blades..and I finally got completely under my coarse haired neck area..I dunno why to say other than I like to be uber smooth..even after 2 days :-)
