    Yes, linen before leather.

    Rolling is the process of dulling or destroying an edge by poor stropping form. It has nothing to do with rolling over the edge.

    Slight pressure is okay.

    Good tutorial here on honing and stropping from the 1961 barber manual excerpt in the SRP Wiki help files. The last few pages on stropping explain it very well. I usually do 50 linen and 50 leather before the shave and 20 leather only after cleaning and drying the razor. Some guys do more and most less. See what works best for you over time.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
