    Default Intro and a question

I picked up an antique "shave ready" Wester Bros. 5/8" last year and have been "honing" my skills w/ it all this time. It was sketchy at first, but I am getting the hang of it and now great a pretty good shave on a regular basis. I keep the blade conditioned using a leather and linen strop.
I have also built some balsa blocks that I use w/ diamond paste.
Can anyone give me some advise/help on honing the blade with a stone when the time comes?

Welcome to SRP. Cool that you've been shaving right along with the Wester Bros. Check out the link below in my sig line and navigate to the 'honing a razor' section. There are many tutorials and videos available. Once you decide what hones you're going to get, see "What Hone Do I Need" in the honing section.... ask all the questions you have and some of us will help all we can.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
