Thread: what exactly is diamond spray...?

Feel free to point me to a wiki page or something. I couldn't find a good answer to this. Most seemed to be from people that already knew what diamond spray was and what it is used for :-)

So I got some with the modular paddle strop. I presume it's for the occasional sharpening of the blade, right? Strop on leather for daily, use diamond spray every...so often (how often?), and then actually hone once every 3-4 months. Something like that?

Is the diamond spray like a "pasted" strop? I'm not sure what that is exactly either. Again, many posts don't define it, just talk about it.

So if it is for occasional sharpening, do I just spray it on the canvas modular sections as instructed on the bottle, strop in my usual manner?
