    Default 3rd attempt, nice

    Well that was fun!

Not working tomorrow and I'd normally not shave on a Tuesday night/Wednesday Morning, but it was an opportunity to have another go at learning.

I didn't do a DE clean up and to be honest its not that close but thats OK I don't need to be clean shaven tomorrow. I managed to get round my whole face, tried out different strokes and grips and started feeling a lot more comfortable about handling the razor, better angle and so forth.

Shaved wearing my glasses and that worked well, mostly. I did pick up a couple of weepers and the alum gave me some harsh feed back, but very pleased with the progress so far.

    Hi Jeltz,
Not working tomorrow eh?- some people have all the luck!!
You seem to be doing just fine!-Keep going like this and you'll soon have this thing down!
One note of caution-keep the pressure as light as possible and let the razor do the work-your skin will thank you for it.
Use aftershave balm to sooth sore skin and it doesn't hurt to let your skin have a break from shaving for 48 hours now and again if you can get away with it.
    regards

    Cheers Noggs,

I work Saturdays instead but I prefer a day off in the week.

Initially I switched to DE shaving at the start of the year and your advice about pressure, balm and so forth is something I learnt from that and is very true. I'm a big fan of alum too

    Thanks for the encouragement.

    Nic
