Default Thumbs up to Carrie M shaving cream

I'm on about shave 10-15 or so and tried Carrie M's Black Rasberry Vanilla shaving cream. After using SRD soap (which I like) and Proraso cream (which was okay--don't think I used enough water in the lather that first time), Carrie M's cream is the best.

Wow. Easy to lather, scent is amazing, and it really seemed to protect my face and the blade glided nicely.

Great product and I recommend any beginners email her and give this a go.

I've been using the lemongrass variant for about a week now. If the after shave balm is anywhere near as good as the cream, it's good-by Castle Forbes "Lime" for me. Same for the lavender, which tells you all about the essential oils used. Good stuff, and very affordable, too.

I just got the Dragon's Blood scent, and it's great. My blade glides through it smoothly, and the scent is amazing. I have fairly sensitive skin, and this cream tingled when I put it on, but no reaction beyond that. Definitely a great cream, and one I look forward to using quite a bit.

How do you get CarrieM's creams? Is there a web site?

Tuxedo7, just drop CarrieM a PM and you can order from her that way. AFAIK there isnt a website.

    Hope that helps!

I'd recommend the First Frost and the Rose Otto without reservation. Be careful of the blackberry vanilla. It smells so good you'll want to eat it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

You da man ...how timely is your post??...this AM I tried CarrieM's sample of Black Rasberry Vanilla...I agree with your assessment...Wowww. I wasn't crazy about the smell in the small sample tub at first, until I broke it into a lather and put it on...I almost wanted to forget about the actual act of shaving in favor of keeping the lathering going and smelling this stuff.

Sorry about hijacking this thread for a second Stub, but
Carrie: THANK YOU for a the wonderful samples . But, I think if my marriage breaks up, it'll be your fault!! . My wife loves the LILAC (for her legs) as do I. It's come to a point where I have to hide it from her. I also LOVE the black vanilla, Bamboo teak, lemongrass, Oakmoss, Blood orange, Bourbon vanilla and a couple more, which I can't remember right now.
