    i have no doubt there is much ground to cover on my technique/skills, was just surprised that it seemed no whites were shaved

    i strop in the neighborhood of 30-40 times... i'll up that amount now...

    maybe i'll pick up a preshave oil based on other reading i was doing on srp

    I've heard of people using olive oil as a preshave. I used to use Extra Virgin Olive oil for a last pass all by itself, it worked well, but olive oil is expensive! NO it doesn't cause break outs, it's good for your skin, google it!

    i had read somewhere (and i can't remember if it was on here or elsewhere on the internets) about making it with olive oil, castor oil and oil essence ...

    but i'll give it a try and swing thru our kitchen on my way to the bathroom this morining and grab the olive oil... thanks!



    maybe it'd be easier to just use PAM spray?

    Please sir, do not give anyone any ideas as I'm sure at least one member will try this out, and then PAM will be the next SRP craze!

    I don't think pam is good for your skin the way olive oil is! Lol
