Alright after some more reading and consideration, I decided to take BladeRunner's advice and go with the dovo best quality wet set and the strop. I spoke to Don today on the phone and has helped me out so much and can't thank him enough for that and I want to thank everybody else here too. I am going to place my order either today or tomorrow.
    My setup will be:
-Dovo best quality straight razor (not sure what size yet and will choose at payment)
    - 3" Premium IV (Long) English Bridal Strop
-Simpson Chubby 1 in Super Badger
-Black Onyx Marble Covered Soap Dish
    -Lavander soap

It's a total of $346. I figured I'd go high end with the strop and brush as that will last me forever and go with a decent razor which I will upgrade later on.
Please let me know what you guys think about my choices as a first timer/setup and if I am missing anything else important.

    Thanks again guys.
