If your razors fit the cigar tubes, then why not? I would place some tisssue or a paper napin in at least one end of the tube to keep them from moving around too much, though.

I use plastic tooth brush travel tubes for mine, with some soft tissue in one end to make the fit slightly snug so that the razor does not move around too much.

I've had no luck getting any of my razors to fit Habanos tubos from churchill on down. I don't know about non-Cuban tubos. I thought that they would work when i ship them for honing.
For good looking storage there is an ink pen storage box, glass top, very well made and attractive for $16.00. The pen slots hold most size razors. I keep 8 or 9 in one. I did not save the link when I bought it but i found it here on the forum. I'll look for it and post it.

Here is the link, it works great and looks great to me. http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?p...428&filter=pen

    Default oil or not ?

Would it be good to oil the blade or leave it dry And which oil is good? IF I oil them how often should I re-oil them when in storage.

Silica gel packets are a good addition to any storage option too.

I recently bought a Thiers Issard Elm Burl Display case

It's ~$100, but I really found it nice for my collection

I oil (Mineral Oil) all of mine, except the one I use daily...I refresh the oil every week. I also store them in my Thiers Issard Elm Burl Display case (see my above comment) or other case with silica gels packets, which keep moisture out.
