    Default Honing Services

    Fellow Staright Razor Place users,

When I bought a NOS razor that is half hollow, it was mentioned that it comes shave ready. When I received it by mail, the edge and spine was worn unevenly. The edge even has a dead spot in it which means there is no edge at all (very strange). The man himself assures me that the 20 year old blade is warped and that is the reason for uneven wear.
Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Here are some pictures to prove it.

    It's certainly rather abnormal.
May be somebody thought NOS is part of the Wapienica name.
    Didn't you see photographs first?

If you have a problem with a vendor, you should contact them directly. SRP is not a place to air your grievances.
