Thread: Anyone heard of the brand DUNNÉ?

Hello, all! Newbie here, and I just picked up a double coffin with a J.R. Torrey knife and another with DUNNÉS marked on the tang (is tang the correct nomenclature for that part of the knife?). Has anyone heard of DUNNÉS (with an "S" - I mis-spelled it in the title of the post...)?
The opposite side reads "Finest silver steel made and hollow ground in Germany."

Looking forward to hearing any replies -- I like the site!

I have a book on straight razors and the only thing I could find was a James H. Dunne & Co. in New York but nothing with an "S" on the end. Unfortunately that's all I can tell you about them right now. I Googled the name and nothing came up.
