More stropping . . . not more honing.

I carefully put 100 laps on the razor across my horse hide strop.
The razor seems to tug a bit. It came to me shave ready but I think my first attempt to strop it was a failure now I'm carefully working the strop in order to get it back in shape. Maybe just maybe it will get better. If not back out to honed again. I need a good honed razor as my hones will show up soon and I need good example, and right now I don't think its really shave ready. More stropping!

    Hey Iceman,
I'm having the exact same problem. I too am worried that i've dulled my blade and am trying to make the shave feel better with more stropping. I'm more afraid of dulling the blade than cutting myself.
Let me know what ends up happening, cause I'm in the same boat.
