    Default Dixie Razor

Can anyone tell me the value of a Dixie Manufacturing, Co. straight edge "Master Barber" razor? It is in very good condition with the box and the number record is 301861. It has a green mother of pearl looking handle and no rust on the blade. I believe it belonged to my great-grandfather. Any ideas? Thanks for your input.

We dont usually discuss value here in the open forum. But if you could post some pics it would be nice. Welcome!

Welcome to SRP. What nun2sharp said... if you post a photo we can let you know if it is in good shape to make a shaver out of it or whether it will need some restoration first. One way or the other chances are that it will need to be pro honed if you are intending to shave with it. Here is the SRP Wiki where you will find the beginner's guide to get you started.
