i bought a shadow box, replaced the styrofoam with wood wrapped in felt, installed some hooks, and hung it on my wall in my room. it's a small shadow box but i have room for about 8 razors, just need to buy 2 more to fill it up.

If you ever shop keep an eye open for a correctly sized coffee
or pasta kitchen storage container. They seal and are airtight.

I keep a couple active razors in a cup in the bath under the sink (no crawling
kids). The rest I keep in individual plastic coffins all in a plastic pen/pencil box
that has some silica gel drying agent (that needs to be refreshed in
the oven, thx for reminding me).

I knew a machinist that kept some moth balls in the case
with his tools. He said it displaced air and humidity and helped
keep the rust away. He was also very good a wiping them down
with a lightly oiled shop rag that he kept handy for exactly that.

I have a cigar box I have been going to convert to a razor storage
box. I think I will leave a special place for a silicon cloth
from the gun shop so it is handy. Keeping oily rags is a "no no"
so I would look for something airtight for the rag too.
