    Hello all,
    This is my first post, although I've been lurking for a while. I've been shaving with a straight razor for 9 months now. i started with a dovo blade my wife bought me and then my mom gave me all of my grandfathers blades. I had my barber check them out and he honed two of them for me in exchange for some wine I made. I have been reading up and am thinking about restoring one my grandfathers blades with broken scales so I may have some questions. This is a great site.
