    Any members in the L.A. area know of any shops that sell SRs and SR goods? Anyone know of any good old style Barbershops in the Area?

    P.S.-Does anyone find the method of mixing some Shaving cream with Shaving soap lather to create an even better lather? Thoughts welcomed.

    If you find yourself in Costa Mesa go to south coast plaza and head into Plaza Cutlery. They have a supply of brushes, straights, soaps and strops. Last I was there they were out of strops though

    shaving soap +shaving cream i think is what is refered to as uberlather
    i cant get a big difference myself but its supposed to be real good

    I remember reading that Ross Cutlery, in the awesome Bradbury Building Downtown LA, carries straights. Let us know if you go, and if they have anything good. I intend to get there one day. Especially because Blade Runner is one of my favorite movies.
