    Default Disposable SR

    Hey All,

So I've made the mistake of buying a Disposable SR, with a few Disposable SR blades. I just wanted to know if anyone has any experience with these. I am going to be purchasing a normal SR soon, shave ready and all that jazz. I'm just hoping that all my money doesn't go to waste on the Disposable i just bought. I mean if its good enough for barbers then I am assuming it should be fine. All thoughts welcomed.

Can't help you personally as I've never used one. However there's this article on the Shavette in the Wiki that might answer some of your questions until someone more knowledgeable comes along.

I have been shaved with a disposable. It does a decent job in the right hands. I talked to the barber about it and he told me they had to disposables becuse of Health Department requirements.

I started out with a number of cheap plastic disposable straight razors. They did the job and allowed me to appreciate the huge difference between a disposable and a real straight.
