Thread: high hopes....dashed

So I was out of town this weekend and had received mid last week my new shavette razor blade....I was HIGHLY anticipating the receipt of the blades to use in it in Saturdays mail....so upon calling home Saturday evening I was informed that a small fed ex package had arrived....I was SO excited I couldnt wait to get home and try it out....well its now 11:30 on Sunday nite...I gotta get up by 6 am in the morning and I opened the package....replacements heads for my toothbrush.....(price is right sound effect of waaah, waaah, waaaaaaaahhhh)....So now I highly highly anticipate the arrival of the blades in tomorrows mail. That probablly better anyway because Im sure my first attempt at this hour of the day (after most of the day in Texas at the race) would not be the best idea for my face or my blood count....So here's to hoping they arrive in the mail tomorrow...or I might be aiming for the post office.....so for now its still

Greetings and keep your fingers crossed. Your shavette choice was the safe way to get into SR shaving I presume right?. Now, I am sure that you walked through the wiki how-to shave encyclopaedia to explore the basics on straight shaving too; if you haven't I insist that you do.

well the razors did indeed arrive in todays mail...i will soon be taking a shower and preparing my face and attempting to shave the right side of my face with the shavette...and you are correct in that this is my attempt to ease into straight razor shaving although i know the learning curve is much higher I kinda like to roll like that you know....I will update you all soon enough....here to hoping I dont look like "hades" raiser after I'm done....
