Default Hello!!!! and a question for you guys

I travel a lot! I was wondering how long will a hone last on a razor? I can carry a strop with me no problem, but i like to travel with minimum equipment. I travel for 60 to 90 days at a time around the world.
    Thanks Matt

imo best way to go is 2 razors and barbers hone + strop .
A razor should be usable ~2-3 months before honing is needed (the time depends on beard type, prep, and how you strop) .
Touch up on the barbers hone when needed an strop. I think that will be enough.

Thanks guys. I have not bought anything yet. I'm going to buy a wet shaving set from SRD. I'm leaving in about a week. Trying to get stuff together.

Welcome to SRP and good luck with shaving on your journey.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

60-90 day's is getting a bit borderline, but as Bill say's, pastes would bring the edge back. I prefer hones, but under those circumstances, pastes would be the simplest way with no chance of broken rocks.
