Default Your razor is an extension of your hand.

Although I'm no newbie I thought this should be posted here.Tonight was as lucky as it was wreck less.I am trying to dial in my wade meat chopper.I set my hand down on the sink with razor in hand so that I can check out the cutting pattern on my cheek. After examination i brought my razor up to continue, but along the way I cought myself in the belly. That was the wreck less part. The lucky part was how the steel came in contact with my flesh. My belly cought the blade tip broadsided so i only got a nice little S mark with a couple of weepers. This was my one time it's going to happen this way.Next time I'll cut off a steak.Always know where your razor is, hence the title.

you make a very good point... FWIW I was trying to figure out where this was on your face and was very puzzled before reading the entire thread... thanks for the reminder

Just be glad that it was your belly and not...uh...neighboring property. To paraphrase Dolly Pardon in 9-5, you might have "turned [yourself] from a rooster to a hen. That, or made it hard to tell what religion you are.

Reminds me of the time I wiped the lather from my blade onto the towel I was wearing, ruined a good towel, the leg healed up fine.

Yikes...I did the exact same thing to my face the other day. Thankfully for all of us, most razor nicks don't hurt much.
