Default Can I paste a nylon web strop?

I guess my question isn't really "can" I, but SHOULD I

I've had very good results with pasting a narrow linen strop using a mineral oil and ChromeOx mixture. I also have this really wide nylon webbing that came with my latigo, just wondering if I could use the same mixture to paste it.

    THanks.

You can paste almost anything: balsa wood, denim, web, felt, leather

Usually people opt for these because they are cheap or have alot of them since once you paste something you can only use it as a pasted strop. If you don't care about or didn't pay a lot for the nylon go for it.

However if you do paste the nylon you can only use it a a pasted strop. The paste can seep through to the other side, so simply flipping it over and trying to strop normally on it would be a very bad idea!
