    Mark,

Well, I knew it was only a matter of time! I think you've got a good passle of advice, so I'll just add my support. Go for it!

Just have fun doing it and let me know if I can help you.

I remember doing one of, if not the first straight razor shaving video out there and it took a ton of persuasion. I kept thinking one of the barbers would do it and now look at what we have out there. It's a bootiful ting....

There was always something I thought of adding after doing each one too......

Shoot me a PM and I'll send my number if you want to talk.

Thanks for your lathering videos. Really improved my preparation no end. Be advised that if you get the hang of straight razor shaving you may never go back to the DE. ....
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Welcome and Thankyou for all you have done. The very best thing you could do would be to take Lynn up on that advice/offer. You could not go wrong there.

    Cheers

I want to add my thanks for your videos, I find them not only informative but a lot of fun as well. I have learned a lot and continue to pick stuff up with them. I have posted them a lot of times here in SRP. I can't wait for the straight razor video to come.

    Al raz.

I've resisted up to this point because of the work involved, both with learning the various aspects of straight shaving and the "mechanics" of doing those kinds of videos (I'm sure Lynn can "feel my pain"). However the demand has gotten to the point where I probably need to do *something*.

So...suggestions? Should I just get the newbie DVD to study and emulate? Should I try going the cheap route with a Pakastani razor and a single strop? Or just do a video referring everyone to SRP?

    Mantic,

Your videos taught me much of what I know about wetshaving, and I'm sure you'll find that the members here will always be eager to help. Chances are your first straight shave will be better than 99.99 percent of us mere mortals. I wish you all the luck in the world, and I hope you stick with it.

I'm not sure you could make an authoritive video passing yourself off as an expert any time soon. A better approach would be to assume the role of a newb. Take the viewer through the process as you experiment with what is preached by the experts.

...I love your videos. If anyone can pull it off, you can.

I was thinking the same thing, it seems as though it takes a lot of time to become an expert, but it would be VERY cool to be able to watch videos of someone of your caliber to go through the learning process. +1 on betting you never go back

    Mantic,

Many thanks for your videos! They were a great help when I was starting to use safety razors.
