Thread: Another Newbie Checking In

Hello all,

Just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself. My name is Clyde and I've been wet shaving with DEs about three months. I recently decided to take a walk on the wild side and give straights a try.

So far, I've bought Lynn's DVD and ordered a Tony Miller strop and beginner strop and have a couple of beginner razors in the pipeline, too.

Looks like there is a wealth of information around here, and y'all are very kind and tolerant of newbies, which should be very helpful to me. I'll probably ask some questions you've heard before many time.

Thanks, guys. As to what razors I've settled on, I found a Geo Wostenholm & Son straight on the classifieds and one of the hone maestros has offered to hone it up for me. I've got a couple others I'm looking at also.
