    Well hello all, I'm new here and new to straight razors as well, and I thought I'd stop in and say hola. I've been experimenting for about a week and a half now with decent results. I can shave my cheeks to about 100% of where I'd like, below the jaw about 75%, lip 75% and head about 50%. Must practice more!!!!!! Just not enough "canvas" to practice on all the time!

    Welcome to SRP. If you're shaving your head with a straight you're way ahead of me. Check out the SRP Wiki here for tutorials on all things straight razor related and ask any questions that you may have on the forums.

    Hi Mykl, and welcome. Sounds like you're off to a great start. The head is harder for reasons that you're well aware of but you get there I assure. Good luck.

    congrats on the shave ^_^

    can we get your setup IE:soap,brush,razor,strop,aftershave? Pictures are great too we love that stuff it also helps us know what you might have trouble with.
