    Haha ya some of my hones/sharpening stones are primary for kitchen knives, but I do use them in restoration work.

    I think 9 (dmtc, dmte, naniwa 1-5-8-12, coticule, escher, nakayama) I would consider for regular use, or close to that. And probably 9 more that I should try out for a bit and move to somebody else who would use them more.

    Upon taking inventory I have so many that I am embarrassed to tell the amount. Suffice to say probably more than I need.

    I only have a handful but certainly have "more than I need". What's the fun in only having what you need?? The more the merrier!
