Thread: shaving, am, pm or anytime

When I had to be at the office at 8:00 am, my shaving time was at 7:00 am and I only had 10 minutes or less to shave. Now, I am retired, and I don't have to be anywhere at 8:00 am. I shave when ever I like and take as long as my face can endure. At 3:00 am, 4:00 pm or 11:00 am, it makes no differnce. Time is of no consequence only the razor, the brush and soap to be selected and used. So, shaving has become a leisure activity and not a daily chore; honing and stropping is extra gravy. I hope you get there too, it is fun. Juan.

I'm still in school, so the road to retirement is a LONG way off for me! I'm glad that you're enjoying shaving so much, as it should be a pleasurable activity.

I retired at age 51 after 30 years of accounting work. If you plan it right you too can accomplish it. Juan.

Well even if I retire at 51 (which is quite early, so congratulations on being able to at such a young age) it's still 27 years from now.

I shave whenever I want. I usually do it in the morning, before work and sometimes before bed. I even shave at night AND in the morning sometimes. My face can handle 2-3 shaves a day for some strange reason....

I usually shave at night, before bed-- no rush, and a nice routine to relax the mind.

+1 TO THAT, I WAS TAUGHT BY MY UNCLE DON'T WORK FOR YOUR MONEY, LET IT WORK FOR YOU. RETIRED 3 YEARS AGO AT 55. WOULD HAVE DONE IT AT 50, BUT COMPANY WOULD NOT PICK UP INSURANCE UNTIL 55.

I'll probably work until I die. Spent my money on lots and houses .... don't ask. I shave at night, usually around midnight on my days off. I ride bicycles every day and the sweat burns if I shave and then ride.

On workdays I ride real early and then come home and shower and shave. I don't have to be to work until afternoon so it isn't rushed. I enjoy my shaves.

I don't much like to shave, but my employer requests it

I prefer to shave when everyone else is asleep - it goes more quickly that way.
