Thread: The Winding Road Here

Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen.

Well.. a combination of my wedding in March this year, a straight razor barbershop shave on the day and complete dissatisfaction and irritation in shaving with a Mach III and foam has led me here. After lurking about in the background for sometime I now really feel an overwhelming need to both introduce myself and to thank you all for this wonderfully rich forum that you have all helped create. THANK YOU ALL!

While still only very, very new to this noble art, I have fallen head over heels for traditional style shaving and am flabbergasted that such a luxurious, ritual laden and positively indulgent artform is not a compulsory rite of passage for every male on the planet(no disrespect intended toward our lady members).

So while I have gleaned a wealth of information from you all without having to say a single thing and will likely continue to do so, I hope to repay my debt by contributing in the future as I continue on my merry shaving way.

sounds like you are hooked also. i really enjoy shaving now and have now purchased several different razors and a 3" latigo strop that works great.
