Shaving as life should be an adventure. We all have different shoes, shirts, pants even cars. Why not different sizes of razors. I have from 3/8 up to 8/8 razors of different brands, hollow, points and steel. I shave with all of them and we all know size matters. I still enjoy more the 7/8 and 8/8 SR with Spanish and/or spike points, quarter hallows shave me better than the full hollow. A well balanced scales make the shave more maneuverable when turning the face corners. But of all the fine razors I have accumulated the most pleasant, easier to shave and most beatiful is the Robert Williams 8/8 carbon steel, ivory scales, spike point and quarter hollow. I use the entire edge, front, middle and back to shave. This razor maximize the adventure of shaving. The face becomes a canvas and the only regret is when you run out of canvas and the hair does not grow fast enough to continue the adventure. I feel sorry for those men lacking facial hair and are missing a great shave. We may not be able to get everything, but at least we still can get a great shave!
