    Default That print on the blade itself

    Hey guys!

    I don't know what this is called, you know the gold print on the blade itself? How tough is that? I wanted to clean the razors my grandfather gave me with some scotchbrites, but was afraid to get to that area, fearing I'd destroy it...

    Yes, I think that would rub off quick. Is it gold-wash or gold-print?

    yeah not tough at all, you'll likely loose it. try rennaisance wax, that's gentle on it, but may not do much cleanup. if you have rust on it, you'll probably have to choose either rust and gold or no rust and no gold.
