Thread: Just wanted to say hey!

Hi all, just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Arthur, I live in Houston.

I've been wetshaving for about 3 weeks with DE Safety razors and I love it but I couldn't resist the call of the straight. I have a vintage straight on its way from e-bay (hopefully I won't regret getting it from there, fingers crossed) and a sharpening kit from classic shaving. I can't wait for it all to get here so I can get started!

I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions once it does arrive so you'll be hearing from me!

Welcome aboard! Ask lots of questions. Seems like most of the people who make mistakes do so because they were not informed before they went at what they were doing.

That's the luxury of SRP... you can get the answers before you make the mistakes. Mistakes will no doubt happen anyway, but at least at that point you will be able to chalk it up to inexperience and not ignorance.
