Had my seventh shave, and it was great!

Did my typical prep with a hot shower and warm lather. Getting much better at lathering up on my skin.

Put my razor to my neck instead of pulling/burn/pain just got a nice smooth action. Very comfortable. I was able to give a close shave on my whole face, and nearly BBS on the cheeks with ATG passes. No big nicks either!

Just wanted to put that out there for people who are having problems with their initial shaves. My first experience was not comfortable and I was quite disappointed. I have learned alot since then about blade angle, pressure, correct ways to hold the razor, lathering, and stretching the skin.

Still lots to learn, particularly about stropping. I've already ruined one edge and am sending it for rehoning. Let's hope I can keep the others keen...
