    Default Wow! I'm liking this!

My two new "Lynn Sharpened" Shave Ready Dovo's and my TM Heirloom Horsehide & Linen Hanging Strop arrived within a day of each other. Tony does beautiful work. I hung the strop on the door jamb outside the bathroom door in my bedroom. It looks great there and it is handy to use. Now I know how a sharp blade is supposed to feel. Even though I was completely satisfied with my usual puck of William's, I treated myself to a tub of SRD's essential oil shaving soap in patchouli. I am really liking this. Shaving used to be a chore. Now it is a joy! It's been about 5 days now and this morning I got my first BBS shave. Only one small nick. The patchouli soap has already paid for itself. My GF walked in on my as I was finishing my shave. She nuzzled my neck then dragged me to the bed. Sigh, life is good.

    Ahhh, here's to happy endings.

Big difference between the Williams and a high-quality shave soap, eh? Glad you're liking it, it can only get better from here.

    Happy shaving!

    Congratulations!

You certainly sound like you're set up: a couple of shave-ready Dovos, a TM strop, nice shaving soap. Glad you're enjoying it so much, it's supposed to be enjoyable!

And everybody else thinks we're just a bunch of shaving nerds.

This post is useless without pics...

Great to see you're having fun shaving. In the end that's what it's all about!

Max, in internet parlance that would be either "Pics or STFU" or "Pics or it didn't happen".

    And yes, I agree.

I'm curious, do the SRD essential oil soaps come as pucks only? Noticed the other soaps that came with wooden bowls were higher priced and wanted to know before I bought.
