    Default First Shave Completed!

    All,
After listening to advice from yesterday I did not shave this morning. I was not feeling well so I took a half day off. As I was getting ready I decided to shave with my SR.

Feeling better I decided to take a shower and took my time prepping. I let my brush soak during the shower. I lathered up and started. I was able to work over most of my face but my throat area was tough and I did not do a good job. In fact I had to run over my throat area with my DE.
My cheeks are smooth and feel nice and I did a decent job on my chin.

My throat has a bit of razor burn.

I have decided that I will work the upper part of my face, jawline and above for a while until I really get the hang of using my SR. Overall not a bad experience and I am happy with the way my cheeks turned out. I have entered into the land of the learning curve. I am now a Padawan learner. I am looking forward to learning and refining my SR skills

Yeahaaaaaaa... welcome to the straight train.... seems you are riding the train first class.. good to have you aboard.. the first miles might be bumpy due to the new railsystem but in a couple of miles everything will smooth out just fine.. please relax and enjoy your journey..

Good one, Jim. Nice job on the chin. Took me a while to get there with that and the upper lip. In fact, when my Mother saw me after my first straight shave she immediately focused on my upper lip and burst out laughing. That's Mothers for you.
