    Hello all,

    I just wanted to post to say hello. I am going to be new to straight razor shaving, but have been wet shaving with a DE for close to two years.

    What a great site with a wealth of knowledge ... now back to the Wiki

    Welcome to SRP. IME being an experienced DE shaver makes the transition a lot easier then it otherwise would be. You have the preparation and lathering mastered as well as the concept of multiple passes and gradual stubble removal.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
