    Default New guy from CamP Pendleton...

    ...Down in SoCal. I started using a straight razor about 3 years ago while deployed. I kept running out of disposable m3 razors and found it difficult to get them. After getting a Dovo straight razor, I haven't looked back.
    My current set up is a
    Dovo tortoise shell razor, Truefitt and hill shaving cream, AoS pre-shave oil, and an AoS brush. I was recommended here by another Straight razor user and have already found the information to be fantastic.
    I am definitely still a newb at this and hope to learn and contribute here in the future.

    Welcome, You have good taste and have made some fine purchases. I love my Dovo's. They're among my best shavers.
    I'm actually considering putting up my vintage stuff in some kind of display case and going with a 7 day set of Dovo's and my Livi. I want to buy some more Livi's, but they're a little pricey. Now, there's is one nice razor, if you have the means, I highly recommend Mastro Livi razors. I got out of the Navy in 95, I did 10 years, was in Desert Storm in 91.

    Rich, those Mastro Livi's look great! Alas, I already have a cigar collection, so if the wife see more than two or three razors in the house, something's going up in smoke, lol.
