    Default My New Shave Stuff

ok I purchased the three bottles off ebay because I thought they were the bigger glass "Vintage" bottles. It turns out they are very small bottles but they are glass. They are just for decoration in my shave cabinet that I will have soon.

What Im really impressed with is the Brush, I didnt have the $135 this week for the Shavemac so I bought this $12 tweezerman to get started. Brushing it on my face it feels pretty soft I might actually just use the hell out of it. I think this is a good first brush for a newb, actually I dont know much but it seems like its a good brush for anyone.

Now to the razor, Straight razor designs got this to me in like 2 days, it's my first razor and I love the look of it, holding it in my hand feels very comfortable, I think Im really going to like shaving now.

Nice start there. I also started with the twezerman brush and for the price can't be beat. The dovo is also a very good razor, I used the 6/8 tortoise yesterday and it gives a great shave. All you need now is a strop and a set of norton waterstones and watch out because next you'll proabally start buying older razors and getting them cleaned up.

It's a great way to shave and I have not looked back since I started down this path.
Ahhh the smell of clubman in the morning...Nothing better

    Have Fun

nun2 are you serious? I was thinking they were at least the 6oz bottles but they are smaller, doesnt say on the label how many oz's they are but there smaller than the plastic 6oz bottle I have.

I think my next razor is going to be the red bismark, then Im set..... I swear

You just keep sayin' that. If you say it loud enough and long enough someone will believe you (but it won't be me!!)

I started a few weeks ago with the same dovo you have. I now have a Robeson, E.K. Tyron, and a wedge on the way....

Good luck, RAD understated.... and happy shaving!

I noticed they said" a gift from your barber", so I am guessing then that they are sample size, like the booze bottles they used to pass out on airplanes. Ive been looking for a glass Pinauds and those look very nice.
The red Bismarck is next, man you are a goner!

The bottels are like 4oz, I thought they were going to be bigger from the photo I looked at before I bought them, but the labels are in perfect condition.

Im serious , I get the Bismark and Im set , although I did see a Damascus razor think it was called Maestro something for like $900 that was pretty nice, and I just found out that I like the look of Joe Chandler razors.
