    Thanks guys... I guess it boils down to "different strokes for different folks"

    I tried the full hollow Wosty this morning and got an acceptable shave,.. not like the ol Torrey 1/4 grind though.
    the sound of the wosty was soo loud... not at all what I was used too.

    kljr.. I understand what your saying.. and once I get REAL good technique going I will try to branch out more.. even for RAD sake.
    Alraz..thanks for the link... skys the limit for reasons.. I agree with prestige..heck if I was rich,, I'd have a few sets. might yet still..
    J, I can understand with finding pristine razors within a matched set,,, just something about familiarity that is so comforting..
    and comforting is good when you have a razor on your throat! lol

    like I'm sure many members here have read (and it may be mentioned in that linked thread) members here have put forth the notion that a 7 day set also allowed the well to do to need to send their razors out for honing very infrequently (assuming all were in rotation)
